The Rockledge Department of Public Safety is pleased to welcome Amanda Edwards to our Communications Division as a full-time Public Safety Telecommunicator. Amanda began her employment with Rockledge Police Department on February 5, 2019. Amanda was raised outside of Philly (Philadelphia) and moved to Florida in 2009. From there, she became a Veterinarian Technician before joining the Fire Service as a dispatcher in 2015. Amanda is now a resident of Brevard County.  Let us all welcome and wish her all the best in her new career!

The Rockledge Department of Public Safety is pleased to welcome Jillian Smith to our Communications Division as a full-time Public Safety Telecommunicator. Jillian began her employment with the Rockledge Police Department on March 4, 2019. Jillian was born in Waterbury, Connecticut and lived in Arizona until 1999 when she relocated to Rockledge.  Jillian has obtained an Associate of Arts degree along with an Associate of Science Degree.  With her A.S. degree, she received certificates in Domestic Violence and Community Health.  Currently, she is attending the University of Central Florida to obtain a dual Bachelors degree in Psychology and Social Work.  Let us all welcome and wish her the best in her new career!
